Everytime I book talk your book, I can't really explain what the "beast" is... To stand up in front of Freshmen and tell them they'll like a book about kids being pursued by a "beast" feels silly. Yet I found myself freaked out by the beast. Any of you creeped out by it?
To me it seems that the beast must have been a creation from Graham's sick head. In the authors summary thing it says how he dreams endlessly for summer, and is always frostbitten since birth. And in the book the beast hates summer and gets hurt from sunlight (almost like a vampire). Its very confusing..
i think maybe it is like an indian version of the yeti or some stuffz
